Overdue
It’s three days after Christmas and the first measurable snowfall finally occurred.
It’s slush more than snow but still, it’s here, and just enough to make us jubilate a touch and smile as the plastic Santa—with a light bulb shoved up its ass—glows a little brighter on the front lawn with snow sprinkled over it and all around.
In California’s Sierra Nevada mountains there’s nearly 17 feet of snow.
They must be so happy there that their laughter carries all the way to the North Pole and into the New Year. --TK
