Sorry, Charlie

Charlie Brown woke up the day after and saw that his dog had the most beautiful, sincere Christmas tree in the world.

And then they, the kids, the children, put on the Christmas play and everyone applauded.

Multiple standing ovations in the auditorium.

And it snowed over, and over, and over and they, the kids, played hockey and ice skated from Christmas Day until it was time to go back to school.

But no one ever said they were sorry to Charlie Brown. They didn’t apologize for being so mean to him or doubting him.

They didn’t need to, did they?

But that would have been nice.

It would have been the most Christmas thing of all. --TK
